The group GALA produces energy from renewable sources by using the controls GALA Power, owner of seven solar power plants in Italy, with an installed capacity of 4,3 MW. All generation plants are installed on industrial buildings, with no impact on the landscape and environment.
In 2015, GALA has launched a major project aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of residential consumers and SMEs. This project is based on a distinctive business model that integrates:
- the best available technologies for the production of electricity and heat from renewable sources, heating and cooling, lighting, measurement and control of consumption and electric mobility,
- all the services of technical, administrative, commercial, financial, monitoring, support and maintenance, which allow for an easy and affordable intervention to improve energy effciency.The services for energy efficiency supplement GALA’s global offer, but are completely independent from the sale of electricity and gas.

The GALA Group, through its subsidiary GALA Tech, has recently acquired the production assets of Solsonica, the largest and best Italian manufacturer of photovoltaic panels, acknowledged in Italy and abroad for the quality of its products.
In the site Production of Cittaducale (RT), the group has two production lines of panels, with a production capacity of up to 144 MW / year, and a line for the production of photovoltaic cells of up to 40 MW / year.
In summer 2015, GALA acquired the 100% of Proxhima, an Italian company that has developed a technology for the storage of electrical energy based on flow batteries (Vanadium Redox).
This technology is distinguished by the duration of the life cycle (up to twenty years) and for the lowest cost per charge/discharge cycle, compared to all the existing technologies, and fits perfectly for every stationary-energy accumulation need.
The Proxhima battery has superior performance to other batteries Vanadium Redox-existing, it is characterized by the power and scalability of the energy stored and stands out for its innovative design.
